that is the most common misconception about star trek..."its wierd"... "its stupid"..."its boring"...and everyone that says that never saw an episode...then there are those people named khimme that syas star wars is better...then my blood boils....that is their opinion...hahaha so here are my two cents!!!!

the ships in star wars a better than star trek...becasue they have lasers and can go light speed
[reality]
thats a bunch of crap the fleet in star wars couldnt handle a fleet of space tricycles and bike with training wheels from star trek...the star wars technology is far inferior than that of star trek..where as star wars uses regular iron clad ships contructed out of plain sheet metal...the ships in star trek are constructed of great titanium alloy metal which constructs this outter hull and framework of the ship...my godson could throw a rock at the millenium falcon and that piece of trailer park trash would shatter like frozen jello...
then comes the weaponry...lasers!?!?!..get the hell outta here...i use lasers to blind my professors at school...star trek uses phasers...and when set at maximum can completely disassemble your own atomic structure and completely scattter your molecules into thin air...i dont care how good you are with a light saber...i can make short work of little anikin and his ligh saber while im on the toilet
light speed?!?!...common stop living in the wild west!...mu corolla can hit light speed when im late for work...warp now thats something else...having the displacment of matter mixing with antimater to create such a combustable source of energy that allows you to travel faster than light...splitting time and space...woooooooooooooosh!
